I stumbled across Mystery House Taken Over today. What is this? Are people still writing games for it? Are there rules?

Mystery House: Occluded Vengeance was the only game written after the main batch of games (eleven days later, in early 2005). So no, nobody has really made new games for it since.

As far as I know, there are no rules except 'make a game using the Occupation Kit'. I'm not sure what you want in response to 'what is this?' that's not explained on the site.

IIRC, the whole "Mystery House Taken Over" thing was partly because it was the game's anniversary at the time. It was the first graphical adventure game made by Sierra, but I can't remember if was all successful during its time (it probably was).
