My suggestion is to update that rule in GEP and change all the "follow the FOO rules" statements to "follow the FOO rules without linebreaks", where this phrase is defined as To follow (RL - a rule) without linebreaks: (- FollowRulebook({RL}, 0, true); -). You don't have to touch...

Sorry, I should have responded earlier... The stack trace makes clear that the problem is the "handle glk event rule" in Glulx Entry Points. This checks a number of rulebooks to decide what to do with a given input event. However, the rulebook mechanism has an arcane set of rules to decide...

This would happen if you try to print something to the main window during the status-line activity. Or the map-redrawing code, I guess. If you open the web browser console ("Toggle Developer Tools" in Lectrote) you'll see a VM stack dump at the point of error. This is just VM function addr...

While discussing Ryan Veeder's Anchorhead project, I looked at the Epistemology extension. It goes to some effort to be efficient, but the "mark items as seen when looking" rule relies on a loop that runs through every game object. I've hacked out a quick update which is more efficient in ...

The cleanest way is to release a web-playable game and adjust the CSS to your liking.

It looks like the host (altervista) is adding a page toolbar to the interpreter's HTML. That's messing up the page formatting. It adds "position: relative" to the <body> tag, which breaks everything. Is there host documentation about suppressing that toolbar, or formatting it differently? ...

Not easily. The "all" words are built into the parser at a low level, and there's no facility for replacing them conditionally. You'd have to modify the I6 code in three places (Descriptors(), NounDomain(), ChooseObjects()) where it checks against the ALL1__WD and ALL3__WD constants. The b...

Problem with this is there are some games that rely on capturing individual key entries. This is a different input method. For a Glk interpreter, capturing individual keystrokes means calling glk_request_char_event() instead of glk_request_line_event(). So the interpreter can distinguish these, and...

It uses "~Library/Application Support/Lectrote/" on MacOS, and something appropriate on Mac and Windows.

https://electronjs.org/docs/api/app#appgetpathname -- see the "userData" field.
