I tried out the game--it's a fun little puzzler! I had to use the invisiclues on each of the last three rooms, but the solutions were reasonable and made sense. Thanks for sharing!

I appreciate the feedback! I think I will not run it again this year. If anyone else is interested, they can set it up!

Last year, due to the high number of entries, the IFComp authors organized a mini-competition to encourage people to review all the games. Small prizes were donated, and the reviewers who reviewed the most games were rated by participating IFComp authors. Is anyone interested in doing something like...

I tried out the Fido game. I was impressed with the smoothness of the webpage and the good visual design. The scientific experiments were fascinating. But I found the choice structure difficult to work with at times. My first playthrough, I encountered no experiments because I was trying out unusual...

I've had many very, very helpful people help test my short IFComp game The Origin of Madame Time, and I'm appreciative of all they've done. However, I'd like to trade testing with another a few more testers now, because: 1. Different people try different weird commands, and 2. I know a lot of people...

Thank you to those who responded, I have enough testers for time being. I'll probably need a couple of follow-up testers later on, so if anyone wants me to test their game in return for later testing of mine, I would be more than happy!

As a prize for IFComp last year, I wrote a small sequel to The Owl Consults called The Origin of Madame Time. After consultation with the authors of The Owl Consults, I've decided to enter the game into IFComp. Unlike my past games, it's not designed to win: it's short instead of long, difficult ins...

(This post also contains my overall impressions) The Scholar This Unity game is harder to evaluate, as the author admittedly rushed through some of the details, and it shows. The overall idea is that you have amnesia and are stuck in the basement of your grandmother's house. The room is implemented ...
