A limmerick

Giuliani and Web

He may lie through his single real tooth,
but as walkthrough his sayings are sooth:
when you’re strapped to that chair
and explain why you’re there,
just remember that truth isn’t truth!

As politician his words are uncouth,
but as walkthrough his sayings are sooth:
when you’re strapped to that chair
and explain why you’re there,

If it be random poetry night, I wrote some words to this song and nobody I know will let me sing them.

Betty Boop is on the road
Singing songs of Frog and Toad
The lawn they mowed
In summertime.

Going to see the Old Dark Frog
The one who wanders in the fog
And knows the song
That doesn’t rhyme.

The two above are very nice you see.
So I shall not best them with my word misery.

Oh my, good thing you put that hidden.

I would prefer my game not be an excuse for a “spiralling down into the worst poetry imaginable” thread. Please.

At least stick to original creations, and not quotes from “Truly Tasteless Limericks” or whatever that Reagan-era collection was called.

Much better, thanks. That’s a statement about me, to my face, and you were willing to put at least a couple of minutes of thought into expressing it.

Personal insults are not called for here.

I’ve locked the thread at least temporarily while the moderators discuss it.
