Inform Extensions Search

Howdy y’all,

I am pleased to announce the Inform Extensions Search website: i7search.jmac.org.

It’s exactly what it sounds like: a simple search engine for the Creative Commons-licensed Inform 7 language extensions known to the inform7.com website. I created it to provide an alternate interface to eyeball-browsing that site’s extensions list, something that becomes harder to do as people continue releasing new extensions to the public. (The count is over 230, as I write this.)

It indexes extensions’ documentation as well as their titles and authors’ names and such, so I hope it proves a useful tool for authors to discover new extensions (or discover that it’s time to write a new one themselves). I just made it public this morning, and would be grateful for any suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback.

Enjoy!
