How do i create rooms above one another and how do i create a hallway for it?

Hallway is a room. Attic is up from Hallway.

Hallways are often done in segments if they have multiple rooms off of them.

Example:

[Segments of "The Hall"]
North end of hall is a room.
Middle of hall is south of north end of hall.
South end of hall is south of middle of hall.

[Rooms off of the North end of the hall]
Bathroom is east of North end of hall.
Kitchen is west of North end of hall.

[Rooms off of the Middle of the hall]
Living room is east of Middle of hall.

[Rooms off of the South end of the hall]
Bedroom is south of South end of hall.
Closet is east of South end of hall.
Chapel is west of South end of hall.

Here’s a map of what that’s like:

(OT): Hi Phil,
Nice map. What did you use to create it?

Thanks

I use Dia Diagram Editor: dia-installer.de/

There are Linux, Windows, and Mac versions.

You can also add colors, there are some “street” shaped shapes in one of the sets, etc.

This is a more colorful and complex one with some planning for “Getting To Work And Other Bullshit”:

non-specialized, but definitively useful. and of course, native on Linux. whose is a huge plus for me.
