[Killing the player when moving]

ok hopefully this is the last time i bother you guys but how do i program it so when i enter a certain room (in this case a police station), someone from the room that you were just in (the cornfield in this case) dies the next time you enter?
so you talk to him in the cornfield but when you enter the police station he is dead and it says something the next time you enter the cornfield.

You’ll need a person in the cornfield and his/her corpse in nowhere to start. Then you have the person and the corpse swap places when the player goes into the Police HQ:

the cornfield is a room. "A lovely place for the corn to grow.".

Police HQ is north of the cornfield. "A lovely place for the cops eat donuts and fight crime.".

Bob is a man in the cornfield. The description is "A lively fellow".

Bob's corpse is nowhere. The description is "Oh! That's a dead guy!".

Understand "bob" as Bob's corpse.

After going to Police HQ:
	Now Bob is nowhere;
	Now Bob's corpse is in the cornfield;
	continue the action.

Example output:

cornfield
A lovely place for the corn to grow.

You can see Bob here.

>look at bob
A lively fellow

>n

Police HQ
A lovely place for the cops eat donuts and fight crime.

>s

>look at corpse

Oh thats super coool thanks phil!!!

No problem. I added an understand just a second ago, so “look at bob” still looks at the corpse after the switch. Be sure to check it :slight_smile:

You can also probably do:

After going to Police HQ when Bob is in the cornfield:

To make it only trigger once.
